DEER HUNTING at Carolina Buck And Boar
3-day Trophy Deer Hunt From Stands August 15th thru January 1st
With over 1500 acres and more than 28 years of quality game management experience, we can offer the hunter the opportunity to harvest large trophy whitetail deer, trophy Russian Boar and wild hogs. Our South Carolina deer season starts on August 15th and ends on January 1st. Hog season is open all year long in South Carolina.
The most productive time to get a trophy buck is during the pre-rut and rut. The prime times are from October 15th thru November 20th. In order to give you a better opportunity to harvest a large trophy whitetail buck, we minimize the hunting pressure by allowing a maximum of only six hunters at any time during the season.
How We Hunt
Our guides will take you to your stand and pick you up after your hunt. Most of our hunting is done from permanent tower stands, box stands and tree stands. You are welcome to bring your own climbing stand. Our guides will assist you in finding just the right spot where those big bucks have been seen roaming. All of our stands are baited with corn or planted food plots.
BAG LIMIT
Hunts start with your arrival on Thursday at noon. You will hunt on Thursday afternoon, in the mornings and afternoons on Friday and Saturday, and then on Sunday morning before your departure at noon. We can usually schedule your 3-day hunt to suit your needs.
You are allowed to kill one buck each morning and one buck each afternoon, for a total of 6 deer during your 3-day hunt. We prefer that our hunters shoot bucks that are 8 points or better. This allows younger bucks to mature for the following season.
As a bonus, at no additional charge, after September 15th, you are allowed to kill one doe during your 3-day hunt. Does should be 75 lbs. or larger. Additionally, bobcat, coyote and fox are allowed to be taken at no additional charge during season.
COST
The cost for this hunt is only $650.00 per hunter. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required when you make your reservation. Deposits may be paid with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, personal checks, cashier's checks, traveler's checks or money orders. Your balance will be due upon your arrival and must be paid with cash or certified funds.
CLEANING FEES
There is a $45.00-per-animal fee for skinning and quartering your game. We have a walk-in cooler to store your game until your departure. Your guide will be glad to pack your game on ice for your trip home. Please don't forget to bring your coolers.
